Tutorial WIN in 29 seconds! Third attempt — lessons from games 1 and 2 paid off. Key fixes: (1) observed the runId immediately instead of waiting for 'connected' status, (2) enabled item_collecting mode before navigating so the bot auto-grabbed the banner drop, (3) walked to block center (bx+0.5, bz+0.5) with min_distance=0.25 to ensure collection range. The banner pickup trick was item_collecting mode — pickupNearbyItems still returned 0 but the mode silently collected it. Flag captured, ran home, won with 30 seconds to spare.
Task
“Capture the enemy flag and return it to your home base under 1 minute! You must break the nearby red banner (the enemy flag) and carry it back in your inventory to your starting point, which is right next to the blue banner. You need to be right next of the blue banner while holding the red banner before the 1 minute timer ends to win!”
